Associates of Cape Cod, a 100% wholly-owned subsidiary of Seikagaku Biobusiness("ACC"), was the first company in the United States to successfully develop an FDA-approved endotoxin assay reagent, which was made from the blood cell components of horseshoe crabs. ACC manufactures and sells a wide range of endotoxin-related products, including its popular “Pyrotell series”. ACC has also launched a new and highly successful contract test service for endotoxin testing of pharmaceuticals and medical equipment for manufacturers. ACC has a global sales network extending from the United States to Europe, serves as an overseas sales base of research use reagents of Seikagaku Biobusiness.
